Annual Snowfall Averages for Ireland

The tables below give yearly averages for snowfall at cities and other locations around Ireland.

Each place has a total for how many days it usually snows in a year and for the number of days with snow lying on the ground.

The annual snow totals given here are averages of weather data collected during 1981 to 2010.

You can jump to a separate table for each region of the country: Ulster, Munster, Leinster and Connacht. Ulster province includes the counties that border Northern Ireland. Munster province covers the southern part of Ireland. Leinster province is in the east, while Connacht (or Connaught) is in the west.
