October Weather in Jamaica

Hurricanes and Tropical Storms

No major hurricanes are expected near Jamaica in October. There's a two percent chance this month that a category 1 or 2 hurricane comes within 100 miles (165 kilometres) of the country's western region, but none are likely anywhere else. The likelihood of a named tropical storm affecting Jamaica in October ranges from 8 percent in the west to 4 percent on the eastern side of the island.
