The tables below list annual averages for snowfall at cities, towns and parks in Alberta.
The numbers are for the total amount of new snow and how many days it snows at least 0.2 centimetres (0.08 inches) in a year. The snowfall totals are averages based on weather data collected from 1971 to 2000.

For the entire province of Alberta, total snowfall in a year amounts to an average 140 centimetres, or 55 inches. Province-wide, Alberta averages 60 days annually when it snows.
